As fake news proliferates within the media industry it has become critical that journalists arm themselves with the core skills of information verification. In addition, new media practices have seen the rise of data driven journalism to guide reporting and research. The Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism is calling for application for its workshop. The two day session will involve discussions and training on verification techniques and dealing with data.
